Original Elska Art Print: "ÁTTUNDA SYSTIR"

This portrait is of Mateusz M, a guy featured in our Elska Warsaw (Poland) issue. He was photographed by Liam Campbell near one of Warsaw's most famous buildings, the Pałac Kultury i Nauki [Palace of Culture and Science]. This is an architectural ‘gift’ from the Soviet Union, which to many renders this building either iconic or an eyesore. In Moscow a series of similar buildings are known collectively as the ‘seven sisters'; thus I named this image ‘áttunda systir’, which means ‘eighth sister'.
