Elska Art Print: "Glæpamaður"

This portrait is of Kris M, our 614th elskan, featured in our Elska Singapore issue. He was one of many bold and rebellious lads who were met in this city, and one of the people who most challenged our stereotype of Singapore as a repressed, conservative, and boring place. We wanted to select an image for an art print that honoured his devil-may-care attitude, so we chose one where he's breaking the law, here vaping out in public (e-cigarettes are banned in Singapore). The title of this art print ‘glæpamaður’ means ‘criminal’ in Icelandic, so it's pretty accurate, and cheeky!

You might also notice that this is from the same scene that made the Elska Singapore cover, but in this image he's actually smoking it, and on the cover he's just holding the vape pen.
