Elska Art Print: "Snákurinn"

This portrait is of Toby H, our 634th elskan, featured in our Elska Paris issue. As he sat down on the bed to start a new scene, he grabbed a toy snake that was laying by his pillow and instinctively wrapped it around his body. Somehow the snake stirred something in him, a part of him to be precise, and soon the mood got a little bit too hot. Here's the moment where he decides to cool off with a few gulps of water, just before he puts the snake away and we continue the shoot with a little less ‘tension’. This image was always meant to be a sort of humourous outtake, but I've come to remember this moment with such fondness that I thought it worth honouring it by making it into a limited edition art print.
