Elska Art Print: "SVEPPASKÝ"

This portrait is of Rhodes H, a lad featured in our Elska Sydney (Australia) issue. The flat he lived in was especially small, and there wasn't much natural light coming through the one window, so I decided to just play around with a table lamp while Rhodes moved around. This is one of my favourite images from this scene.

When I came to name this picture, at first I started thinking of the obvious things like doubles, shadows, etc. But as I looked more and more at it, I saw something explosive in it - the word ‘sveppaský’ means ‘mushroom cloud’ in Icelandic.
