This portrait is of TeeJ and Devlin J, a soon-to-be married couple featured in our Elska Atlanta (Georgia) issue, showing TeeJ in the foreground on the bed and Devlin waiting behind. The name ‘þolinmæði’ [tho-lin-may-thee] means ‘patience’ in Icelandic. It's in reference to the long relationship they have had which only on the day of this shoot turned into an official engagement (read their story in ‘Elska Atlanta’ for more context); and it's also in reference to the patience these men showed me, ‘cos they clearly couldn't wait to ‘celebrate’ alone!
