About Elska Providence (Rhode Island):

Our Providence issue is our very first edition to be made in the USA, and we chose the city of Providence for the honour. Capital of Rhode Island, America's smallest but loveliest state, Providence has it all: culture, artfulness, history, beauty, and diversity. It also has some great people, and we are happy to introduce you to some of them here.

Inside the issue's 156 pages, you'll meet the fourteen local Rhode Islanders we found on our journey. They were photographed out and about and in their homes with a naturalistic and intimate style. We also shot this issue during the most gorgeous season in New England, the autumn, when the leaves were at their most colourful. Most were shot in Providence itself, but we also couldn't resist travelling down to Newport, Rhode Island's south coast gem, to capture a few more guys there. 

Beyond the images, there's a text to go with each boy. The stories for this issue are perhaps the best of any Elska so far. There's Dee W's tale of finally maybe feeling at home in Providence; Samuel K-M's story of a Providence bridge's cursing of past relationships; Norbert G's recount of a recent threesome; Matthew L's narrative on a typical night at a local gay bar; and Adam C's "things he said / things I said / things I should have said" report that will leave you shouting "fuck yeah"!
